In my whole years of internet surfing i have received numerous email letters telling me to forward that very important email, because my dog would die, or my dvd player would burn or I would win amazing amounts of money and other tragic stories.
I got this by email from a trusted person. And it is a totally new fraud - scam concept. Hence it might be true. Whatever it is, proceed with caution.
Can you circulate this around especially as Xmas is fast approaching - it has been confirmed by Royal Mail. The Trading Standards Office are making people aware of the following
A card is posted through your door from a company called PDS (Parcel Delivery Service) suggesting that they were unable to deliver a parcel and that you need to contact them on 09066611911 (a Premium rate number).
DO NOT call this number, as this is a mail scam originating from Belize.
If you call the number and you start to hear a recorded message you will already have been billed £315 for the phone call.
If you do receive a card with these details, then please contact Royal Mail Fraud on 02072396655.

Was more polite that I would ever think, with a writing similar to various other Nigerian Scammers "Dear Seller" and such stuff.

"I applied for to jobs on here and within a week iv received over £500 in cheques or travellers cheques, sound great till i started getting death threats to send the money back, they ask for your address then will tell you they will send you a payment so you know they are serious. they work in so many ways, they are either mony laudering, drug money or they are trying to get acess t your bank details. and the p[olice can't do anything about it, infact i still have the cheques a home."
So my thoughts were pretty much correct. If you provide address and name, then you get threatened and blackmailed...

QUESTION TO ANYONE READING THIS
Has anybody had a scam type of experience with buyers supposedly from the Nederlands?
Things get a bit strange, but scammers are always scammers...
This time the scammers have reached an all time low point wanted to buy something that costs just 10£ offering 50£ and wanting to arrange a courier on their own, asking for my address, name and telephone number.
My thoughts about this is that they might be wanting to send me a "hot package" if you get my point, or even deliver this "package" by themselves.

I would also advice everyone on the good side of things, not to give any details at all. You never know when someone will come knocking your door with not the best of intentions.

Craiglist Scammers continued
A variety of other people contact me through Craigslist to buy stuff offering to pay by check while they wanted the item to be posted within the United Kingdom.
Having heard stories about fake checks that the bank and the police is coming after you and not after the one who gave it to you, naturally I denied, although I offered them the option to pay by Paypal or deposit money in my bank account, or pay on collection, which I would prefer.
After my answer, they vanished :)

Having heard about the Nigerian scams before, I was alerted by the high price of the postage he was prepared to pay and the fact that he wanted to send the item in Africa.
Similar situations before this one, the next step after I gave them my details to send the money in Paypal, I received a strange letter of confirmation form paypal for receiving the funds, but when I logged on in my paypal account, there was no money there.
Little bit after, the "buyer" send me an email, saying that he had send the money and I received a paypal email!!!

Purpose
Being a frequent online seller and buyer, I have come across a few individuals trying to steal what ever I had for sale. Most usually expensive equipment, such as mobile phones, laptops, or digital cameras.
I decided to post their details online here for others to avoid them.
Of course since email addressed are a dime a dozen, there might be not much point in making the addressed they use public. However even if one person avoids the scam due to that, my purpose is served.
