    well what they say is true,if it sounds to good it is to good to be true mklmorgan@gmail.com buying a car using paypal over sent money it cant be released until you send to david cruise via western union .I feel so stupid but i learnt the hard way just sorry i didnt check b4

    so you mean David Cruise was "selling" a car you wanted to buy? Where was the ad posted? was there any other details you could share?
    I suppose that if you are in the UK the police could easily investigate a fraud claim.

    here is the info I was given today in reply to an ad I posted on gumtree selling a camera. He claimed a few times that he was just waiting on my paypal info. I had it on my site and then he sent me this address. I feel bad for people that get stung so im sharing this info! I hate that people are getting away with this rubbish! stay alert people!

    Ive just recieved this address for an iphone I had for sale on donedeal, they wanted me to send a money request through paypal, thing is I thought paypal would be completely safe and I would get my money without hassle till I googled the address, does he scam by taking the item and claiming he never got it??

    Hi md,
    I have never actually send an item so I am not sure how it works in the end, although what you say is possible.The thing is that they NEVER really pay for the item in the first place (cause the emails they send from paypal are fake), so it doesn't matter what they say in the end since they do not intent to pay anyway.

      Hello,
      I cant really comment whether that is safe or not. If you have already posted the item, I don't know if there is anything you can do.
      If he has paid through paypal, when you log into your paypal account there will be some notice saying if he has paid or not. DO NOT SIMPLY TRUST EMAIL MESSAGES they may come from paypal, or "paypal". And ALWAYS ALWAYS log into your account typing the paypal address not clicking links in obscure email messages.

    Ok folks, help me out in this.
    I have posted an item for sale in India. The Nigerians contacted me, asking me a bank account number to which they can wire the money. I have an unused account. Should I give that and see whether they deposit money in that?

    what you do it is up to you. If you understand that he is a scammer, why keep talking to him? You are not going to get any money and they will have all your details and can be intimidating sometimes. Id suggest to cease all contact with them
